The Burleson Fire Department currently has 31 career firefighter personnel who operate out of three stations located in the central, western, and eastern portions of Burleson, and provide services to more than 38,000 people inside the city of Burleson.

Responsibilities
This service area is responsible for the following items:
  • Developing standard operating procedures compliant with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards as well as Texas Commission on Fire Protection standards in order to provide the safest environment possible for our employees and volunteers and to provide the best service possible to our citizens
  • Overseeing overall operation of the department
  • Preparing and administering the department's budget
