iPhone application has been added to the Citizen
Request Tracker module and it's FREE!
When a citizen observes an issue (ex., pothole, lost and found pets, abandoned car) they can submit a photo and description. Using the iPhone’s GPS technology, the app automatically pinpoints and sends the exact location of the concern.
The request is routed to the City of Burleson’s Citizen Request Tracker system and to the City staff members who can get the problem fixed. The citizen receives a confirmation e-mail and can view the status of their request along with comments posted by City staff.
How does it work? When a citizen observes a non-emergency issue, they use the iPhone app to report the problem by:
-
-
Designate Burleson, Texas, as the city
-
Pinpoint the address of the issue using the iPhone's GPS technology
-
Write a description
-
Add a photo
-
Submit to the City of Burleson
You do not have to have an iPhone to report a concern. Go to any page on the City website and click on the “Let Us Know” icon. Some of the issues you can report are:
