Join us after hours at the library for some fantastic music with the Texas group, the JaxBros!

The JaxBros are an acoustic duo. Formed in San Antonio, now calling North Texas their home. Their shows consist of an impressive array of improvisation, originals, and covers. They use their childhood muses mixed with the aura of the DFW scene to create their own unique, bright, and colorful sound.

Entertaining and Educational!  The Strike, Scrape, & Shake Show is a high energy one-man assembly program that treats students to world class percussion performances by Mark Shelton.  Learn about the percussion family as you enjoy the sounds of snare drum, rhythm bones, hammered dulcimer, handpan, electronic percussion, and more in this fast-paced 45 minute show.  The audience gets into the act as Mark teaches about the history of percussion.

Afternoon Movie

Saturday, July 9, 1 p.m.

Join us in the air-conditioning at the library on a Saturday afternoon for a free movie. Enjoy some popcorn during a PG-13 movie that will get your super-hero senses tingling.

The Library will provide popcorn and drinks. Bring a blanket to stretch out and relax, or we have chairs for your convenience.
