Pregnancy, Fertility and COVID-19 Vaccines
Pregnancy causes changes in the body that could make it easier to get very sick from respiratory viruses. This makes people who are pregnant and recently pregnant at an increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all people 12 and older, including people who are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future. If you would like to speak to someone about COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy, you can visit mothertobaby.org or contact MotherToBaby experts at 1-866-626-6847.
Get a free COVID-19 vaccine without ID or insurance, go to CovidVaccine.Texas.gov. Walk-in vaccinations are available.
