  1. National Drug Take Back Day

    April 24, 2021, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Wal-Mart parking lot

    The Burleson Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The event will be hosted at the Wal-Mart parking lot, 951 SW Wilshire Blvd. Residents may drop off unused, expired or unwanted medications, in both pill and liquid form, for safe disposal. This includes over-the-counter as well as prescription drugs. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Please note: This program has specific health protocols in place for the safety of our participants. The protocols have been reviewed and endorsed by our local health authority.
