Don't let this event be the one that got away! Celebrate Father's Day with a fishing trip as epic as dad himself. Come out to Bailey Lake at 9 a.m. on June 19 and don't forget to bring your gear for the fishing contest. Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish, smallest fish and biggest combination of father and child fish. Free lunch will be provided compliments of Chick-fil-A. There will also be a Master Naturalist fishing presentation at 9:30 a.m., a park tree dedication at 10 a.m., and Burleson Fire Dept. and Burleson Police Dept. will hold a Touch-a-Truck event from 10 - 11:30 a.m.

"Sketching Charlie's Sculptures" Join Tom Sale, Hill College art professor, each Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon for free and open-to-all studio art time. Each week features a different theme and artists must provide their own materials for sketching or painting. On June 19, we will open the galleries and sketch from Charlie Boren's wood sculptures.
