Johnson and Tarrant Counties are located where two main geographical zones meet. The counties are also on the Central Flyway, a major migration route for many avian species. Thanks to the rich diversity of habitat and location, ornithologists and citizen scientists have recorded observations of 387 bird species. Jim Jones will discuss local bird watching in Johnson and Tarrant Counties and resources for wildlife citizen science.

Play, learn and grow with your toddler (12-36 months) in an informal setting with other parents and toddlers.
This event will actually have 5 Tuesday sessions: August 24, August 31, September 7, September 14, and September 21. So, your registration will include all 5 sessions.
Registration is required and only one ticket is required per family. Registration will begin on August 3 through Eventbrite.
Session topics include early literacy; speech, hearing and development; child development; nutrition; and music, play and movement. Someone who knows about each topic will be on hand to answer questions.
Your child should be between 12 and 36 months at the time of the session. Siblings under the age of 5 may attend with the registered child and parent(s) or caregiver.
