1. What do I do if I don't have any hot water?: If the cold water is working then you may want a plumber or someone with plumbing experience to check it out for you. If you aren't getting any water service, call the Service Center at 817-426-9833.

2. What do I do if my sinks and bathtubs are draining very slowly?: Call the Water Department at 817-426-9833 during regular business hours. We may be able to help with your problem. After regular business hours call 817-426-9904.

3. What do I do if water is coming out of a manhole in the street?: Call the Water Department immediately at 817-426-9833 during regular business hours. A crew will be sent to take care of the problem. After regular business hours call 817-426-9904.

4. What do I do if I can't get water to come out of my kitchen sink, even though I'm getting water in the bathroom?: You may have a plumbing problem, you may want someone familiar with plumbing to look at it for you.

5. What do I do if smelly water is coming up from my toilets and drains?: Take the cap off of your sewer clean out and call us immediately. Your sewer clean out is a white (or sometimes black) pipe coming up from the ground and is usually located in your flowerbed near the outside faucet. Call the water department at 817-426-9830 during regular business hours and a crew will be dispatched to check out the problem. Or after hours call 817-426-9904.

6. Is there a charge for turning water off/on for repairs after regular business hours?: No, but you may have an hour or two wait until a crew can get there.

7. What phone number do we call for after hour and weekend emergencies?: For after regular business hour emergencies, call 817-426-9904 to report water and sewer emergencies.

8. If water is coming out of the meter box does that mean I am being charged for it?: Not unless your meter is turning. In any case, you should contact the water department at 817-426-9833 and let us send someone out to check.

9. What do I do if I don't have any water pressure?: Call the water department at 817-426-9833 and a crew will be dispatched to check out the problem.
