    The City of Burleson proudly celebrates Vietnam War veterans at Veterans Memorial Plaza in March every year. Join us on March 30 for the 8th Annual Vietnam Veterans celebration. Honor guards from both the Police Department and Fire Department present the nation's colors, lay a wreath and play taps in tribute to military veterans.

Thursday appointments from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Burleson Recreation Center (BRiCk). Sign up at the Library for appointments at either location The AARP Foundation offers free tax help to low and moderate income taxpayers, especially those 60 and older. AARP representatives will be at the library and the service center to offer assistance during these times only.     Story Time at the Farm meets weekly in the Baker Building. When the weather gets warmer Story Time moves to the Community Garden. Children will learn some of the words in the books in both Spanish and English and all books that are read will all pertain to being on a farm.
