Can't wait to start using the library? You may qualify for our eCARD if you are 18 or over and reside within the city limits of Burleson. eCARDs have full borrowing privileges and give you instant access to our digital library.

Are library cards free?
Library cards are issued at no charge if:
- you live within the city limits of Burleson
- you own property within the city limits of Burleson
- you are a student, teacher or staff member of a K-12 school within the city limits of Burleson
- you have a valid TexShare card from your home library
$12.50/year for seniors age 62 or older
$25/year for a single user
$50/year for a family membership
Opportunities are available for non-residents to qualify for a library card through volunteer service to the library. Please contact us for more information.
What do I need to bring?
When you come to the library, bring your photo ID (driver's license, state issued ID, passport or military ID) with you.
If the address on your ID is not correct, you will also need to bring proof of address. We will accept any of the following items with your name and address:
- First class mail
- Lease Agreement
- Pay stub
- Printed personal check
- Utility bill
- Vehicle Insurance
- Vehicle Registration
