Fire Station 16 Memorial Garden

On June 9, 2022, the city held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly constructed memorial garden behind Fire Station 16. The fire station was dedicated in honor of Dawson Barnes, a Burleson teenager who tragically lost his life in an automobile accident at what would be the future site of the station. The station design includes a memorial garden and a portion of the garden has been reserved for engraved bricks where loved ones can be memorialized.

If you would like to purchase an engraved brick in memory of someone special to you, please complete the Engraved Brick Order Form
