Department Overview

The Capital Engineering Department is dedicated to providing essential infrastructure to support the City of Burleson’s growing community. Our team manages the City’s Capital Improvement Program by overseeing the design, bidding, and construction of key projects, including water, sewer, roadway, drainage, and public safety facilities. We ensure that all projects are aligned with the City's Master Plans, facilitating the development of infrastructure that meets the needs of both current residents and future growth.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality capital projects that offer value to our stakeholders through innovative solutions that address their needs. We aim to complete public infrastructure projects efficiently, on time, and within budget. By applying our expertise in engineering, project management, and construction, we strive to build strong, lasting relationships with our clients and the community, consistently exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional service.
