City facilities, with the exception of public safety, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
There will be no trash or curbside recycling collection on Friday, Dec. 25. or Friday, Jan. 1 If you are on the Tuesday-Friday route, your trash will be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 29. and Tuesday, Jan. 5. Please remember to have your trash set out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled trash collection day.
Hidden Creek Golf Course will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 but will be open regular hours – 7 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. – Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Hidden Creek Golf Course closures subject to change, depending on weather.
The BRiCk will be closing at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The facility will be closed all day Dec. 25. The library and Russell Farm Art Center will be closed Dec. 24 – Dec. 25, as well as Jan. 1 and will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31. The library will be open regular hours, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 2 and Russell Farm will be open Dec. 26 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Senior Activity Center, Burleson Animal Shelter and Municipal Court will be closed Dec. 24-25 for Christmas as well as Jan. 1.
