American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Accessibility

In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA") and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the City of Burleson does not discriminate against individuals with disabilities in its services, programs, or activities. ADA Accommodation Requests:

The City can provide accommodations for employment, communication assistance, and/or make reasonable policy and procedure modifications for accessibility. The City of Burleson will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover the cost of a reasonable accommodation.

The ADA does not require the City of Burleson to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.

Anyone who requires an accommodation for employment, communication assistance, and/or reasonable policy and procedure modifications for accessibility for a City of Burleson program, service or activity should contact ADA Coordinator, 817-426-9640, as soon as possible but no later than 3 business days before the scheduled event.

ADA Grievance Complaints:

Any person, group of persons or their authorized representative may file a grievance complaint of ADA accessibility if such person believes that city services, programs, or activities were not accessible.

Grievance complaints may be filed within 180 calendar days of the incident by completing the ADA Grievance Complaint Form and sending to the city in one of the following methods:
