The City of Burleson's Community Initiatives and Special Projects cover city-wide initiatives that promote a healthy city, youth engagement, education and a sense of community within Burleson. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to those who have a passion for making a difference in their city, including Connect with Council.

CityFest is an annual city event held in February at the BRiCk, 550 NW Summercrest Blvd, and provides an opportunity for residents to engage with their City Council as well as representatives from all the department in the city.
