Environmental Health Services

Function 

The Environmental Health Services Division is responsible for protecting the health and safety of the public and the environment. Environmental Health Services is part of the Neighborhood Services Division.

Programs

Environmental Health Services administers the following programs:

• Public and Semi-Public Swimming Pools and Spas 
• Restaurants
• Septic Systems 

Public health services related to septic systems are provided by Tarrant County Public Health.
