Burleson will kick off a month of holiday celebrations and events with “Lessons Learned from a Christmas Carol” on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Sure to bring a smile to even ole' Scrooge himself, “Lessons Learned from A Christmas Carol” is a great motivational twist on a true classic. This will be a free event, however, registration is required.
Russell Farm Art Center, 405 W. County Road 714, will celebrate the season with Nights of Lights under the beautiful glow of the farm’s holiday lights from 6 – 8 p.m. on three consecutive Fridays; Dec. 4, 11 & 18. Come back to Russell Farm for Christmas on the Farm, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Dec. 12. Festivities include pictures with a donkey wearing antlers, Christmas craft stations and more. Registration is required.
Donuts with Santa takes place 7 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Russell Farm Art Center, 405 W. County Road 714. The event is geared to children from birth to 12 years old. Admission is $4 per person. Tickets are on sale now and are available online or at the BRiCk, 550 N.W. Summercrest Blvd.
The BRiCk wants to gift you with a day of child-free shopping on Saturday, Dec. 12 or 19. This is available for children ages 5-12. There are two times available on each day and registration is required.
Get your holiday pj’s ready for the Polar Express Drive-In Movie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Russell Farm Art Center, 405 W. County Road 714. Participants will be treated to a viewing of Polar Express and the sound will be available from an FM transmitter so families can watch the movie safely from their car. Registration is available online starting December 1.
