Starting the week of August 30 "Alley Access Only – No Thru Traffic” and “15 MPH” speed limit signs will be posted on the former McNairn Road.
The alley will become an unnamed right-of-way between SW Sunnybrook DR and Willow Cir N.
Residents will be able to use the alley to access the backyard of their residences, but it will no longer be open to through traffic.
A traffic study was performed on McNairn Street and identified the need for mitigation. Burleson City Council voted to reclassify McNairn Road to an Alley on June 7, 2021.
