Voters will have their first opportunity to cast a ballot for the city’s special election starting at 8 a.m. Monday, October 21
Important Dates & Times:
- October 21 - 25: Early voting from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- October 25: Last day to receive application for mail ballot
- October 26: Early voting from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- October 27: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- October 28 - November 1: Early voting from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- November 5: Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Early in-person voting will take place at the following locations:
• Johnson County - Burleson Sub-Courthouse, 247 Elk Dr, Room 212, Burleson
On the ballot is the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption only.
Vote by mail eligibility and information:
Citizens are eligible to vote by mail in the special election if they are 65 years old or older, sick or disabled, will be out of the county on Election Day and during early voting, be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day, or confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
