Crochet Group
Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:45 p.m.
Crocheters, knitters, and other yarn enthusiasts are welcome to join the group on Tuesday evenings for company while crocheting, knitting, tatting, weaving, or other yarn-centric projects.
No registration required.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group
Wednesdays, March 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Connection is a recovery support group program that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope.
NAMI Connection groups are:
- Free and confidential
- Held monthly for 90 minutes
- Designed to connect, encourage, and support participants using a structured support group model
- Led by trained facilitators living in recovery themselves

NAMI Family Support Group
Wednesdays, March 4, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need. Free of cost to participants. Designed for adult loved ones of people with mental health conditions. Led by family members of people with mental health conditions. 90 minutes long and meets monthly.
Women Behind the Camera Movie Club (18+)
Wednesday, March 11, 5:30 p.m.
Join us for a movie club highlighting films directed by women. We will watch She Said (R), directed by Maria Schrader, which follows New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor as they uncover a story that helped ignite the #MeToo movement and expose decades of silence in Hollywood. Popcorn and tea will be provided. 18+
Sit & Stitch
Friday, March 20, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Calling all crafters! Join the monthly meet-up on the third Friday of each month. Enjoy the company of other crafters while working on your current project. Bring a work in progress or a new start.
Feel free to bring a snack.
Gardening Around the Year

North Texas has a mild climate that allows for gardening year-round. The needs of your landscape will change from season to season, but there is always something to do. Keep your garden looking beautiful and growing throughout the year by learning all the tips and tricks on maintaining your landscape for each month of the year.
Learn about:
- When to plant new plants
- How much to water throughout the year
- Landscape maintenance needs month-by-month
- When and how often to mow your lawn
- How to spread gardening tasks throughout the year so they aren’t so daunting

Turn vintage vinyl into bold wall art! Customize vinyl with paint, patterns, quotes, or collage and leave with art that actually looks cool. Supplies are limited.
Craft Supply Swap
Saturday, March 28, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Looking to try a new craft but don't want to invest a lot of money until you know if it works for you? Are you looking to downsize or move and have beautiful craft related items that need a new home?
Come visit our swap!
Items for the 'Craft Supply Swap' may be dropped off at the Burleson Public Library March 17 through March 26 during normal operating hours. Please only bring items that are in good condition that you would want to bring home.
Then, come and “shop” on March 28, whether or not you donated any items.
Adult Spelling Bee (18+ only)
Monday, March 30, 6 p.m.
Join us at Sation 330, in the covered patio to spell for bragging rights. Bring your team of 2 to 6 together for the Adult Spelling Bee. Get there a bit early to order a tasty meal and a delightful beverage and get ready to spell!
The top two teams will be invited to compete at the Regional Library Adult Spelling Bee on April 18.
No registration required.

Personal Care Items Donation Drive
Wednesday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 15
Our library is collecting **personal care items** to support members of our unhoused community. Small essentials can make a big difference in someone’s day.
We are accepting **new, travel-sized items**, including:
- Soap / Body Wash
- Shampoo / Dry Shampoo
- Toothpaste & Toothbrushes
- Deodorant
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Wet Wipes
- Sunscreen
- Lotion
- Lip Balm
All donated items will be placed in the **Blessing Box located at Warren Park**, where they will be immediately accessible to those in need.
Donations can be dropped off at the library during regular hours. Thank you for helping us care for our community!
