Curbside Recycling
Pick-Up Schedule
The City of Burleson contracts with Waste Connections for curbside recycling. Recycling is collected once per week. All items must be placed in the city approved cart and placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on your recycling day. One cart is provided for each residence. View the Burleson Solid Waste and Recycling Guide.
All recyclables need to be loose and inside the 65-gallon cart provided. If you need or do not already have a recycling cart, please contact BTX311.
Recycling Carts
The City of Burleson uses automated collection of recycling carts. The recycling trucks feature an automated lifting mechanism that requires three (3) feet of clearance on all sides. City of Burleson residents receive one FREE 65-gallon recycling cart.
Holidays
Waste Connections will observe the following holidays:
- New Years Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If any of these holidays fall on a weekend, there will be no interruption of service. Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day will be regular collection days. If City offices are closed for the holiday, please contact Waste Connections at 817-222-2221.
Boxes
Boxes need to be broken down and placed into the recycling cart for collection or stacked with the regular trash. If you have moving boxes, you can place the broken-down boxes into other boxes for easier handling, but please remove all packing materials and place in trash bags or in the recycle bin, depending on the type of material.
