Born in Kansas in 1949. Attended high school and college in Kansas Moved to Texas in 1983 and worked for BISD for 38 years. Coached baseball, basketball, and Athletic Dir. until 2020. Founder for Burleson Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. Was newspaper in education Teacher of Year 2003. Burleson Citizen of Year in 2019. Retired in January 2021 from BISD. Phil and Teresa have to Sons , Rhyan and Corey and wife’s Kelsey and Shelby and 5 grandsons.
