Payment Information

The Burleson Municipal Court accepts cash, personal checks, (temporary checks are not accepted) money orders, cashier’s checks, and Visa and MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards. 

When mailing personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks, be sure to include your name and case numbers with the checks for proper credit. A $35 fee will be charged for all returned checks, regardless of the reason for return. Payment for returned checks and fees must be by cash, money order or cashier’s check. Personal checks and credit cards will not be accepted to clear a returned check. Please do not mail cash. 

To make a payment by telephone call The Payment Group at 800-444-1187 Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p. m., or by (IVR) - Interactive Voice Response 24 hours a day at 833-832-6026.  Please have your citation number and Driver’s License number available, along with the exact amount that needs to be paid, to expedite your transaction. Payment Plans

You may be able to arrange for monthly payments but you must get permission from the court. Please contact the Clerks’ Office at 817-426-9220 during regular hours of operation for payment plan options.

Unable to Pay

Alternatives to payment may be available to you. All payment alternatives must be approved by the judge. Proof of income and expenses is required. If you or your family receives federal assistance bring proof of the assistance received to court.

Community Service

If you are unable to pay, you may be eligible to complete community service in lieu of payment. A request for community service requires a court appearance before the judge for approval. Proof of income and expenses is required. If you or your family receives federal assistance please bring proof of the assistance received to court. Community service time sheets are available from the court. All community service hours must be completed at a not for profit organization. Please visit the Clerk’s Office at 1131 S. W. Wilshire Blvd., Burleson, Texas 76028 to request the next available court date.

Jail Credit

If you have been incarcerated, you may request credit for time served. All requests require proof of incarceration and must be approved by the judge.
